Never afraid to push the boundaries, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Growing up he was inspired by a combination of Funk, Soul, and Mo -Town music all combined with Marcus’s love of Disco, Funky House, and Tech House beats. Today this translates into sets where the energy builds from one track to the next, embracing the whole spectrum of house music. Since becoming a Housework Resident DJ back in 2019 Marcus has embarked on a successful career, performing at some of the UK’s top venues including Ministry Of Sound, Proud Embankment, EGG, XOYO, Omeara, 93 Feet East (closing the main room), Lafayette through to summer festivals (Shhh, ProperFest, RisenFest) , Ibiza and Corfu. Bringing his unique style, talent, energy and creativity wherever he plays. Marcus’s passion for sound led him to Radio, where he landed his first opportunity in 2020 with CentreForce 883, which then led to a weekly primetime Saturday 2 - hour residency at Unity DAB in late 2020 through to 2022 where Marcus gained experience and knowledge of presenting & producing a world class radio show. You can now find him on Shine879 DAB every Saturday 2 -4pm, known for playing the finest in fresh new music from world class producers around the globe.
